The Xuan Gong Da Gua oracle: the time compatibility.

Xuan Gong Da Gua technique is another form of Chinese oracle that can be used in conjunction with Feng Shui, as well as with the Qi men Dun Jia technique.

The Xuan Gong Da Gua shows the compatibility between the different energies of the time, day, month and year. The “coding” is made through numerological values associated with the Stems and Branches that represent the specific moment. Those values are based on the He Tu numbers. So for example an hour associated with a 3 or 8 He Tu number will support a day with a 2 or 7, as the Wood Element supports the Fire.

The Xuan Gong Da Gua can serve as a filter for the Qi men Dun Jia technique. When both are combined the day selected is even more potent, and the effect stronger. It can also be used in Feng Shui.

You might have heard of the “good Feng Shui day”. There is no as such thing as good Feng Shui days, but there are days and time that can be used to enhance the Chi of a place. Indeed, the He Tu numbers are also used for all the 64 Hexagrams (the same used in the Yi King) that form one  of the ring on the traditional Luo Pan. With this association, the same numbering system can be used to select a specific day and time that will enhance a given location, based on the main door. This is therefore a very useful technique to use to launching a business, open a new store, get married or move in a new house.
