What to look for a successful business in Feng shui?

How to make my business Feng Shui? How can I use Feng Shui principles in business?

Feng Shui techniques used for business purposes are somehow different than the one used for flats and houses. The reasons are as follow:

• The conversion of a business is not based on the chart of the owner, or manager of the business. When someone has a franchise he/she might not be in the business premises often, or even not at all!

• To be efficient an expert must identify the dominant Element of the business and convert the premises to support this Element

• Considerations such as bed position are irrelevant to a business

Therefore, if someone come to your business and start to enhance every corner based on the Bagua associations, he got it all wrong, and it is not going to benefit your business. If you want an increase of the flow of clients and boost your income, you have to understand that each business relate to one, or sometime two specific Elements. Those are the Elements that must be enhanced ONLY.

For example, some business relate mostly to the Water Element, while some other relate to the Fire Element. Two radically opposite Elements! The approach must be tailored to your business type to be efficient. For efficient Feng shui you don’t treat a restaurant like you treat a lawyer firm or a jewellery shop; those are radically different type of company and activities!

How should I choose my business premises?

For something as important as your business premises in which you might sometimes invest all your savings, I strongly recommend you to call me in when choosing the premises. By picking up the best possible location for your type of business we will give the best start to your company. The right Feng Shui setup will then support your activity for years to come.

It is easier to start with the right premises rather than convert an existing one, even if both approaches are equally efficient – it is just a matter of costs. However here are a few tips to choose a good business premises:

• Look at the external structure: the dragon, tiger and tortoise site must all be present and strong. Pay particularly attention to the Tiger site (right side of the building, inside looking outside) that must be rather tall, solid, and not slopping down to secure money matters.

• Try to have a real Ming Tang: a large space where the Chi is welcomed and can gather. Keep in mind that the wider the space in front of your business the better

• Look at the other businesses in the area, particularly with the same line of activity. Are they doing well? Is the Chi of this area lively or vibrant, or does it attract crimes and robberies?

• Incoming roads, nearby body of Water and mountains must be checked thoroughly to see if they bring a good outcome for the business

• The facing and main door of the business must take in the right Chi for your type of business. This is something that must be asserted by a Feng Shui expert.

• External and internal Water exits must be checked carefully to see if they enhance, don’t affect or hurt flow of Chi and therefore the money income

• For food-related business, oven and stoves must also be checked Some of you might have encountered the Flying Stars approach for businesses. There are several problems with this school, but here are a few points for your consideration:

• The Flying stars are pointless if you cannot determine a facing. Therefore they are impossible to apply for open air restaurants or stalls, in the middle of shopping centres, with no distinctive facing or sitting!

• Flying stars influence will not overwrite natural formations. Some type of mountains for example, like the “chastity mountain”, will bring a timing factor to the success of the business

• Flying stars treat every business equally, no matter what type of activity they are dealing with. Therefore they do not account for the specific Chi related to the activity. For those reasons the Flying Stars approach is inefficient in business premises.

The Ba Zhai ( 8 mansions) school is equally pointless as it does not discriminate by type of business activity. What good is it to enhance wood and earth sector for a Water-related business? It will only slow it down!
