Feng Shui colours.
What about Feng Shui and colours?
Feng Shui colours, or Feng Shui colors for our American friends, are misleading terms. No specific colours instantly guaranty a good Feng Shui setup – the worst nonsense I’ve seen are the “Feng shui paints” sold by some opportunistic brands.
However the use of colours is primordial in Feng Shui to convert the Chi of a place. Colours and shapes are the primary tools of a Feng Shui expert to transform the Chi. Each Element has some colours associated with them – therefore Elements’ colours are more appropriate than Feng Shui colours. The colours are a MAJOR mean of conversion and as a Feng shui consultant I use them as a primary tool in all my Feng Shui consultations and reports for my clients in London, the UK or abroad. Colours are also used to balance your Bazi charts – with clothes and bedding for example.
Elements and colours
• Fire: red, orange, pink, maroon, violet, DARK BLUE
The blue colour must be handled with care, as the dark or electric blue belongs to the Fire Element – think of the flame of a stove. Likewise, yellow is earth Element, but gold belongs to the metal.
• Water: shades of blue, grey, dark
• Wood: green, beige
• Metal: white, silver, gold (shiny), copper, metallic shades
• Earth: brown, yellow
