Do you have any Feng Shui books to recommend?
When it comes to Feng Shui practical books, I do not have any to recommend so far. Real knowledge is gain through real life experience, and from a genuine teacher: any DIY approach when it comes to Feng Shui is inefficient, and disrespectful of the power of Chinese metaphysics.
This is not to say you cannot learn anything about the history and theory of Feng Shui from books. However you don’t become a doctor by reading a medical magazine, do you?
On the theory itself, and even if I do not agree with all his suggestions and analysis on Bazi, the books from Joey Yap can be a good start. Do not take eveything from gospel, but it's fair to say that he gets many more things right than one of his main competitor, a famous lady who practises Mc Feng Shui.
The book of my friend Dr Jin Peh, Feng Shui: a Hong Kong perspective is an interesting point of view on a lot of Feng Shui myths and practices, from someone who has been a regular columnist on these topics in Hong Kong.
