Feng Shui for house: a look at the external environment

Feng Shui can be used to make your home a better place and your life an easier one. There are a lot of misconceptions about what Feng Shui should be in a house with concepts such as clearing the clutter, symbolic areas, relationship corner etc.

When auditing a house we have to take into account:

  • the external environment
  • the internal setup
  •  the chart of the people living in

And aims to match and harmonize all those aspects.

Surroundings

A good Feng Shui consultation starts with looking at what the external environment sends to your house. The surroundings give several indications:

  • Is there an aggressive Chi, called “Sha Chi” that might create permanent or temporary problems in your household?
  • What is the type of Chi your house receives; which Element defines it?
  • What is the structure and stability of the household?
  • Are there some good or bad formations around your house?
  • What is the external flow of the Chi
  • Where are the external Water exits etc.

In the following articles I have a look at the different aspects of the surroundings.
