Are there any rules concerning hallways in Feng Shui?

As a matter of fact there is, so thanks for asking this question (I could swear I wrote it myself!). If a hallway is too narrow or long, then it can produce a faster Chi. The problem is that it can hit the doors/rooms at the end of it too fast, or disperse the Chi too quickly. The solution is then to slow down the flow of Chi by putting some artefact in a “wave” curve: they can be plant in pots, terracotta pots, statues, pieces of furniture etc.
